1992 Champion NFL Authentic Jersey Atlanta Falcons Deion Sanders Sz. L Vintage

This authentic Champion jersey features Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback & return man Deion Sanders. “Prime Time” is widely considered one of the best & most dynamic players in NFL history, dominating the league as both a shutdown corner & all-time great kick & punt returner. Deion was also an accomplished pro baseball player & parlayed his on-field career into a successful 2nd act as a spots analyst & 3rd act as the Head Coach of the Colorado State Buffaloes Football Team. His son Shedeur is the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.

This jersey is an original circa-1992 NFL Pro Line Canada authentic-model jersey. There are two ways you can tell the difference between an NFL Pro Line Canada jersey & the US Version: the jock tag & the nameplate. Unlike the US authentics, the Canadian versions use the letter-based sizing tags (in this case, an “L” instead of a “44”). Additionally, due to NFLPA licensing issues, the Canadian runs of these jerseys *did* feature nameplates, but did not have last names printed on them. As far as Falcons jerseys go, the US versions *did* have names printed on, but used the wrong font & only single-colored letters.

This jersey features a custom set of vinyl letters that matches the colors & font actually worn by the falcons during the 1992 NFL Season.

Oddly enough, this jersey is *more* accurate than Champion’s original 1992 US offering. Unlike most of the original vintage Deion authentics you’ll find online, the letters are *not* stitched & the nameplate material is factory original & matches the base jersey. This specific jersey is as close as you’ll get to what Deion wore on the field short of buying one of his personal game jerseys!
