2013 Nike NFL Game-Used Jersey Buffalo Bills Rian Lindell Sz. 44
This authentic Nike jersey was worn by Buffalo Bills Kicker Rian Lindell. Rian left Buffalo as the most accurate kicker in Bills franchise history, making 83.3% of his kicks. He is 2nd all-time in Bills history for total points, trailing only the long-tenured Steve Christie. Lindell holds the NFL Records for most consecutive extra points made to start a career & the highest extra point kicking percentage in history (99.8%).
Officially, Rian's career as a Bill ended in 2012 - however, this 2013 jersey was likely the very last Bills jersey worn by one of the best kickers in franchise history from his final preseason in WNY. Rian remained a Bill across just the first two of the Bills 2013 preseason games - 08/11/2013 vs. the Indianapolis Colts and 08/16/2013 vs. the Minnesota Vikings. The Bills wore their blue jerseys during both games & Lindell played the 2nd half of each, competing against Dustin Hopkins for the starting role. The Bills updated their 2012 "Toilet Bowl" collar style to this more traditional connected collar in 2013, leaving a very small one week window where Lindell would ever have worn this specific style of jersey.
This jersey exhibits evidence of use including laundering, freying on the twill numbers, & light marks on the shoulders & chest, along with favorable wordmark & front number alignment vs. photos from Rian's final two games in Buffalo - see pics for details and closeups!
