2006 Reebok NFL Game Used Jersey San Diego Chargers Keenan McCardell Autograph. A great piece of sports memorabilia!
This authentic Reebok jersey was worn by San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan McCardell. Keenan emerged from a quiet start in Washington, Cleveland, & Chicago to become one of the elite pass-catchers of his era, forming a legendary duo alongside Jimmy Smith in Jacksonville before moving cross-state to Tampa Bay to win a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers in 2002. He enjoyed three strong season in San Diego from 2004-2006 before concluding his career where it began sixteen years prior in Washington.
The Chargers only wore their Powder Blue alternate jerseys twice during the 2006 NFL season. This jersey was worn by Keenan during at least one of the following games:
• Week 5: Sunday, October 8th vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
• Week 9: Sunday, November 5th vs. Cleveland Browns
This jersey exhibits evidence of game use, including hit marks, stains, and light paint transfers. Keenan has autographed this jersey with a large signature using a Black Sharpie & included a “Game Used” inscription next to his name. I cannot provide clear provenance for the crossed torso, which was likely a post-game alteration post-November 2006.
